THE MAIN CHALLENGES ARE

  • Performing tasks related to the configuration, installation, monitoring and operation of workstations, printers, telephone systems or other computer equipment
  • Manage contact with suppliers
  • Provide technical support and training to the staff, students and learners of the school service center
  • Ensure access to the various information systems and the creation of user accounts
  • Ensure technical support for the entire school service center
  • Contributing to the projects for the implementation, migration and integration of the systems

JOB DESCRIPTION

The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in programming or modifying in-house applications, managing networks, repairing complicated breakdowns for computer users and assisting computer analysts in the development and implementation of systems.

THE TASKS ARE ALSO TO

  • Responding to incidents and service requests from users of the Centre de services scolaire du Littoral, using the service request system (Above CRM) •
  • Carry out a variety of configuration, maintenance and updates to the network infrastructure and servers (Cisco switches, IP phone, virtual servers, etc.)
  • Install software and prepare computers for shipment to schools
  • Ensure technological monitoring of the computer equipment used by users (client stations, printers, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
  • Conceive virtual images and applications prepared for deployment using tools (MDM Meraki, SCCM)

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a college diploma in computer technology – network management with a computer management option or hold a diploma or certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority
  • Working languages: French and English
  • Be available to travel on the Lower North Shore territory

KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES WOULD BE AN ASSET

  • Windows-oriented technologies: Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), SCCM
  • GRICS software, Office 365 (Teams & SharePoint), Backup Veeam, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, etc.

SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Salary between $24.21 and $32.32 per hour
  • Possibility of obtaining a tax credit (up to $10,000) for graduates who completed within the last two years
  • 4 weeks vacation (depending on the date of hiring)
